Vienna became a town over 100 years ago. It retains its small town feel by the preservation of many of its traditions, institutions, and community spirit. There is something for everyone here.
The town is located about 15 miles outside of Washington, DC. Maple Avenue (Route 123) has many shops, restaurants, and family run businesses. Historic Church Street affords a nice walk down a shaded street.
If history is of interest to you stop by the Freeman House and Museum built in 1859 as a residence/general store. Centennial Park boasts an old restored Washington and Old Dominion caboose and is bordered by the scenic Washington and Old Dominion Regional Park Trail.

The Town of Vienna is known throughout the area as a diverse, historic location with great dining and shopping options that are the loving creations of local residents. Historic Church Street in the Town of Vienna is a must visit for the shops and restaurants, and it also plays host to a variety of annual Vienna community events from autumn's Oktoberfest to the Viva! Vienna! Festival on Memorial Day weekend.
Just outside the Town of Vienna is Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts - a natural setting for over 100 summer performances across all genres. Another popular nearby destination is Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, found just up the road from Wolf Trap. Both are an easy drive from the heart of Vienna and a lovely part of the overall visitor experience to this area of Fairfax County.
